Biggest Maine Coon Cat in the World Watches Over His Little Brother

Ludo is not only the biggest Maine Coon in the world, but also the biggest house cat. He loves his human family and is their large fluffy body guard.

Ludo is a 3-year-old Maine Coon from Wakefield, England. As a kitten, he was the biggest in the litter. Many who met Ludo as a kitten didn't believe he was a kitten - he was just too darn big! Before his first Birthday Ludo hit 20½ lbs!

On October 6th 2015, he was measured by the Guinness World Records at 118.33cm (3 ft 10.59 inch) and was crowned to be the World's longest domestic cat. He's currently 34 lbs! Ludo is the definition of a gentle giant. He loves watching over and protecting his human family.

Here he is looking over his teeny human brother, Ryder.

Even as a kitten, he's been protective of his human family, and became best friends with his other little brother, Cameron.

"Thick as thieves, Ludo is always at his side."

"He's so gentle he's a big softy he's like a big teddy bear, very chilled personality," Kelsey told Love Meow.

When he wasn't feeling well, Ludo kept him company the entire time.

"He enjoys being near by with both our boys it's like he's watching out for them."

As Cameron grew bigger, so did Ludo.

These two share a very special bond! Best buds!

They have two other cats in the house. One is a 10lb calico, Arwen, who loves to snuggle with Ludo and give him baths. Look how small Arwen looks compared to Ludo!

Krum is a 14 lb cat who is a Maine Coon as well. But compared to Ludo, he's still only half of his size.

Ludo is the king of the house. The silent protector. And his family loves him to bits!
