I had a pet bird growing up, and I could always count on him for a hearty laugh. There’s something about birds that make them the goofiest animal of all — and I love pretty much every internet video that features our feathered friends.

Here, we meet two birds of a feather — Jonathan and Sadie, a macaw and cockatoo. And on this particular day, Jonathan decided to get a little jiggy with it, and he ended up “challenging” Sadie to an epic dance battle. As the two birds fight to the finish, their owners can hardly keep a straight face. Rock it out, guys!

At :40, I couldn’t stop laughing either. Watching these silly birds get down and funky almost makes me wanna dance!

Teddy Bear, the talking porcupine, sure can't resist this Halloween feast. Watch him indulge and talk with his mouth full. Way too cute! We aren't quite sure what he's saying but judging by his general love for food, he's probably saying something good. Teddy Bear is from a traveling wildlife company that educates people about animals.

According to National Geographic, there are about two dozen species of porcupines and they are the prickliest of rodents!

The porcupine is the prickliest of rodents, though its Latin name means "quill pig." There are about two dozen porcupine species, and all boast a coat of needle-like quills to give predators a sharp reminder that this animal is no easy meal. Some quills, like those of Africa's crested porcupine, are nearly a foot (30 centimeters) long.

Sometimes animals get spooked for reasons we’re not really aware of. It can be tricky to train an animal to overcome their fear. What’s interesting about horses is that they cannot see things directly underneath their heads.

When approaching an unfamiliar area or terrain, it’s been suggested that the horse be allowed to lower its head, letting it get closer to the ground to see what’s going on.

In 1963, a man in the Nevşehir Province of Turkey knocked down a wall of his home. Behind it, he discovered a mysterious room and soon discovered an intricate tunnel system with additional cave-like rooms. What he had discovered was the ancient Derinkuyu underground city in Turkey.


The elaborate subterranean network included discrete entrances, ventilation shafts, wells, and connecting passageways. It was one of dozens of underground cities carved from the rock in Cappadocia thousands of years ago. It remained hidden for centuries.


The underground city at Derinkuyu is neither the largest nor oldest, but its 18 stories make it the deepest.

The city was most likely used as a giant bunker to protect its inhabitants from either war or natural disaster.


It had access to fresh flowing water -- the wells were not connected with the surface to prevent poisoning by crafty land dwellers. It also has individual quarters, shops, communal rooms, tombs, arsenals, livestock, and escape routes. There's even a school, complete with a study room.
