Barry Gearhart’s beloved pit bull Titan was stolen from the back seat of his truck a year ago. He says the day. Titan – pit bull went missing was the worst day of his life, and he had cried many nights since then. Although Gearhart couldn’t find Titan, he never lost hope that he’d see his furry best friend again one day.

A year had gone by, but Gearhart still never stopped searching for Titan. He posted a picture of him on his Facebook, hoping someone could help find him.

That’s when a volunteer at a shelter saw the picture and thought a pit bull at her shelter looked just like Titan. The dog at the shelter, who they named Hank, was elderly and attended socialization classes, but they couldn’t get him to behave the way they wanted. He was scheduled to be euthanized in two days.

Gearhart immediately went to the shelter and quickly found out that “Hank” was actually Titan! Their heartwarming reunion was caught on camera, and Titan recognized his human right away.

Thankfully Gearhart decided to post that picture of Titan as a final effort to find him, or else he wouldn’t be here today.

A man rescued a stranded octopus at Cyrene Reef in Singapore and the grateful mollusc thanked him for his kindness.

After recovering, the little octopus moved towards its rescuer and placed one of its tentacles on him for some time before swimming away.

Have you ever had a dog randomly come to your house during the day? Our dog had a lot of freedom, so all the neighbors knew him. But what would you do if a kind and loving dog came to your yard and then came into your house?

A woman recently had to answer this question when she noticed a compassionate and healthy dog walking into her yard. The dog then followed her inside and laid down for a nap. When he woke up, he proceeded back outside and disappeared. The woman didn’t think much about it until it continued to happen day after day.


The dog continued to come back for several weeks before the woman finally decided to place a note on his collar. She was hoping the owner would see it and learn why the dog was escaping to grab some sleep. When the dog returned the next day there was another note attached!

An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard; I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that he had a home and was well taken care of.

He calmly came over to me, I gave him a few pats on his head; he then followed me into my house, slowly walked down the hall, curled up in the corner and fell asleep.

An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out. The next day he was back, greeted me in my yard, walked inside and resumed his spot in the hall and again slept for about an hour. This continued off and on for several weeks.

Curious I pinned a note to his collar: ‘I would like to find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog is and ask if you are aware that almost every afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.’

The next day he arrived for his nap, with a different note pinned to his collar: ‘He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age of 3 he’s trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come with him tomorrow?’

Growing up with a dog is one of the best blessings you can experience. Hopefully this dog will continued to find the rest he needs because his love for these children will change their world!

Great Danes may look impressively large and imposing, but they’re really just big babies at heart! They are all around friendly, intelligent, sweet-tempered, social, and even natured animals that absolutely love to be pampered and pet. That’s the reason why they are often called the ‘Gentle Giants’ of the dog world!

It’s a nickname they’ve earned and once you see how Max the Great Dane reacts to some disappointing news, you’ll understand why. Max was all ready and set to go swimming in his beautiful backyard pool when his mom suddenly told him that he couldn’t go for a dip. Since he had been looking forward to a relaxing swim all day long, he did not take the sudden change of events lightly. Rather than remain calm, Max immediately launched into a noisy temper tantrum and let his unhappy feelings be known to anyone in the vicinity.

The fact that Max is deaf never stops him from arguing with his owners. He whined and protested the pool ban aggressively, answering and challenging his mom every step of the way. The way he talks back, you’d think he could hear every word she said!

The big gentle six year old boy certainly has it made and life is good for him. According to his Facebook bio page he lives alongside his sister Katie, who also happens to be a Great Dane, his mom and dad, and several cats. Check Max out for a good laugh, he surely knows how to brighten anyone’s day!
