Whether it be an adventure to the park or learning to crawl, the moments they share together are simply priceless. Just look at these two — the perfect park buddies! Because it’s always more fun with a friend by your side. Then when it’s time to go home, time to cuddle up together and lie down for a nap! Dogs are also amazing teachers. But no, it is just how these black rain frogs appear. These frogs are native to the Southern Coast of Africa. They live in burrowed tunnels that are around 6 inches deep. What makes the African rain frog unique is its ability to stretch up to a maximum of two inches long, despite being tiny in size. 

These frogs belong to a burrowing species that reside in forest fringes. This is why they do not need to be in the presence of open water in order to survive.

The African rain frog puffs up while it burrows because the increased body size will make it hard for predators that attempt to drag the creature out of its hole. 

In the mating season, the female African rain frog discharges a sticky substance to prevent the male from falling off its back. This phenomenon is known as adhesive amplexus. When the female lays eggs inside the burrow, the male remains within the burrow guarding the eggs until the baby African rain frogs come into this world.

Meet Lala, an adorable King penguin who was living for years with a Japanese family in Shibushi City. Lala was reportedly rescued by the family in 1996 after he was caught and injured in a fishing net. They took him in, nursed him back to health, and even gave him an air-conditioned room. At that time, the penguin had gotten too attached to the family and refused to leave, so they decided to keep him as a pet. They did everything they could to make sure he would have a comfortable life. Many journalists from around the world got in touch with the family to interview them. In 2006, when Lala was around 10 years old, Real TV made a short documentary about his life. 

In the document, he spent his days living in his own air-conditioned room and roamed around the streets of his town. After the family took him to the market for the first time, Lala kept wanting to go back (naturally). 

They noticed he liked to walk and is smart, so the family taught him to wear a tiny backpack and walk alone to the market to get her favorite meal. When Lala hit the road with his backpack on, his favorite destination was the fish store. He bought his own fish there, and brought some home to eat. 

Clearly, the image of a penguin wandering around with his tiny backpack is something you don’t see every day. Lala loved nothing more than to strap on his penguin-shaped backpack and went to the market for some sardines and mackerel every day. 

He also loved his family and his air-conditioned room. Sadly, Lala has already passed away but the memory of him is still alive today. Watch his hilarious shopping routine and his memory in the video below:

The reason behind this behavior is cats are inquisitive in nature. This is why they find fish tanks to be attractive. Fish tanks usually comprise a variety of bright colors and interesting movements that capture the gaze of many animals, especially cats. 

Cats perceive fish tanks to be a mode of entertainment, similar to a television. Jasper the cat, just like those of his species, is also a fan of fish tanks and he loves to observe fish. How unfortunate it is that scuba diving with cats is something that is yet to become a reality. 

This is why his human owners wanted him to experience the next closest thing and the best part is he does not have to get inside the tank at all. For quite some time, Jasper had to sit and watch his scaly buddies from outside the tank whenever he wanted to watch the colorful fishes in the fish tank at home. 

This did not allow him to fully immerse in the experience and it did not make Jasper feel completely involved. 

So, Jasper’s family came up with a brilliant idea to order a customized aquarium that consists of an underwater nook at the bottom of it. This ensured that the cat would get a 360-degree view of all his fish friends. According to the photographs it looked like Jasper loved the new aquarium very much. 

Photographs of him looking at his new view of the fishes show how happy he finally is. The fishes in the tank also do not seem to mind the cat peeping at them from the bottom of the tank. Jasper’s family was thoughtful enough to order a specialized aquarium just to entertain him. 

Their efforts did not go unrewarded as they got the opportunity to witness how much the cat was enjoying his new underwater view.

Lori Jones, who works at Horsetooth Inn and RV Park located in Stout, Colorado, snapped some delightful photos of a wild doe browsing through the shop’s aisles. But it’s what happened a short time later that had Lori laughing.

  The deer appeared at the gift shop’s doorway, took a peek inside and then decided to come in.

  She checked out the sunglasses rack.

  And then the potato chips.

  She even said “hello” to one of the customers.

  Lori decided to coax the deer back outside, after her brief look around. “I lured her outside with a peanut bar,” Lori told 9NEWS. 

 

Lori continued on with her work day, but was later surprised when her wild visitor came back – but this time with her family in tow.

  “Later, I was in the office checking the store stock,” she said. 

Lori turned once again to the trusty peanut bar, this time luring the entire family out to the field. It seems the visiting deer would be only natural for a town, given that it probably has more deer than people (Stout has an estimated population of 47). 

 But the unusual visit is sure to be a memory that Lori will cherish.

Chowder is a potbellied pig who is just 6 years old. But what makes him unique is the fact that he lives with five rescue pups. They are the best of friends despite their individual differences. This pig even acts like a dog and is gentle and lovable just like his doggo buddies. 

Chowder is a Vietnamese potbellied pig. He is recognized as an intelligent and sociable creature. This piggy also loves an occasional good cuddle to keep him warm. 

Their human owner, Shelby, thinks of her animal friends as her own crew, a reflection of who she is. The happiness, safety, and health of all her pets depend on Shelby. Therefore she is determined to not let them all down. 

The pig and the five rescue pups play together in the yard and even wear matching collars. Although they belong to different species, they never let these physical differences interfere with their strong bond. In Shelby’s eyes these animals are like her own children, doesn’t matter whether they are pigs or dogs. She sees Chowder as a son and even compares him to a toddler aged 3. 

Even though Chowder is merely a pig, he owns these five dogs and thinks that he’s in charge. He keeps an eye on his doggo friends, especially when they are playing around. Chowder considers himself to be the wisest of his crew. He doesn’t take part in playing games because he thinks he is far more mature for that. 

Chowder does not want to deal with all that silliness. This pig considers himself to be a lone wolf and is usually observed doing his own thing. 

However, he is a happy piggy who is cared for and loved by his family. Shelby calls out to her animals’ crew saying, “everybody come here”, whenever she wants to capture photographs of them. 

They heed to the call, sit and pose for the photographs. And whenever it’s time for treats, Chowder Lines up along with his dog buddies and waits for his turn. Chowder had a difficult time with his first family and belonged to a guy who got the pig for his girlfriend. Since they couldn’t keep Chowder, they gave him away. 

He had to live on the side of their house. Things changed for the better when Chowder came across Shelby and was able to find his forever home that came along with five doggo best friends.

But when it comes to catching the action with a GoPro, the conditions might be a little bit different. Still, it seems that capturing the choicest clip is just as hard for bears as it is for us. 

While out in the wilderness last week, archery hunter Dylan Schilt happened to stumble upon a GoPro that had been lost while snowmobiling. He immediately took the camera back to his camp and charged it up, only to be greeted by some surprising and hilarious video clips shot by…a bear! 

The inquisitive animal seemed equal parts curious and confused by the tiny recording contraption. “After four months of it sitting there, a big old black bear found it and not only managed to turn it on but also started recording himself playing with it,” Schilt explains in a Facebook post he shared with the GoPro footage.

Rajah, a lab-Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, was spooked by the sound of fireworks that she darted off outside and ran away. 

Her owners Mary Lynn Whitacre and Ryan Washick, tried to run after her, but they lost her. They searched for her for hours. They even posted it on Facebook and asked people for help in case they find her. 

Mary Lynn posted that Rajah was probably just around their area in Simpsonville and Woodruff Roads near Heritage Lakes. They also said that she was microchipped, and her tag has phone numbers. The couple drove around the area, too, hoping to find Rajah at the side of the street. After hours of searching, they surrendered and went back home. It was a tiring night for Mary Lynn and Ryan, and they were hoping that tomorrow would be better. 

But they got the biggest surprise at 3 AM. Their doorbell rang. And guess who they found? Rajah!

  This incident is a good reminder for people out there who light fireworks during festivals. Animals have a different hearing ability compared to humans. 

They tend to have sharper hearing and perceives sound to be louder than what most humans hear. The sound of firecrackers or gunshots frightens them. It may also cause irreparable hearing loss.

(A BBC filming team) Following a polar bear mother and her two tiny cubs, in their epic journey from the the Svalbard islands to the North Pole, the team witnessed an unexpectedly comical moment Soon as they reached the endless glacier, the hungry mother started to chase seals – polar bears main food source – hoping her two cubs will also develop their [hunting] skills. 

But the mother bear’s expectations are soon [ruined] as one of the cubs epically [fails] on her first lesson. Inspired by the fearless mother, the cub seems more determined than ever to catch her own dinner, but only to fell on her back with fear, when a baby seal found its way through the ice just in front of the bear. And clearly, the little one didn’t expect to this…! Typical boy!

Glad there’s a video cutest thing ever! Baby bears are so cute but so are baby seals. Beautiful how all kinds of babies can get along. The innocence of childhood…no matter what species. Maybe in years to come when bear is hunting he might remember seal and give him a day off lol.
