The climate change is dramatically remodeling the biodiversity and ecosystems on planet Earth. With Africa and Antarctica among the most affected areas. The situation looks alarming in the Tsavo West National Park in Kenya where there wasn’t a single raindrop since June 2018. Here lots of animals species seems to have their fate sealed. But this kind-hearted man decided to keep them alive.

Patrick Kilonzo Mwalua is a pea farmer who delivers truckloads of water, everyday for the thirsty animals. And as soon as they heard the sounds of his truck, animals come in a rush to Patrick. He’s carrying 3,000 gallons of water, every single day.


“IT WAS IN JUNE LAST YEAR WHEN VISITING THE TSAVO THAT I NOTICED THAT THE WATERHOLES WERE DRY AND ANIMALS WERE SITTING AROUND THEM LOOKING VERY DESPERATE,” MWALUA TOLD NAIROBI WIRE.

“THERE IS COMPLETELY NO WATER, SO THE ANIMALS ARE DEPENDING ON HUMANS,” MWALUA TOLD THE DODO. “IF WE DON’T HELP THEM, THEY WILL DIE.”


Patrick know that “water is life,” so hopes others will join his noble mission. He has set up a GoFundMe page where people can help him to save those animals. And his beautiful act of compassion hasn’t gone unnoticed.

“LAST NIGHT, I FOUND 500 BUFFALO WAITING AT THE WATER HOLE,” MWALUA SAID. “WHEN I ARRIVED, THEY COULD SMELL THE WATER. THE BUFFALO WERE SO KEEN AND COMING CLOSE TO US. THEY STARTED DRINKING WHILE I WAS STANDING THERE. THEY GET SO EXCITED.”

Three women from United States decided to give a hand. Angie Brown, Cher Callaway, and Tami Calliope are now helping Patrick on his mission. Now they own several truck and in this way they are able to carry water in more drought locations across the African savanna.


“HIS COMMITMENT TO THE WILDLIFE AND HIS HERITAGE IS UNMEASURABLE,” CALLAWAY SAID. “EVEN RISKING HIS OWN LIFE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT TO DELIVER WATER TO A DRY WATER HOLE.”

“I WAS BORN AROUND HERE AND GREW UP WITH WILDLIFE AND GOT A LOT OF PASSION ABOUT WILDLIFE,” HE SAID. “I DECIDED TO BRING AWARENESS TO THIS SO WHEN THEY GROW UP THEY CAN PROTECT THEIR WILDLIFE.”

In Erode, India, locals and tourists witnessed an unusual friendship between a rhesus macaque monkey and a stray puppy. The duo became the talk of the town not only for being different but because of how close their bond is, as if they were biologically parent and child.

According to the locals, the monkey decided to adopt and protect the puppy. The two can be seen wandering through the streets together, along the busy streets of Erode, with the monkey carrying the tiny puppy in his arms. They can also be seen playing together and when stray dogs bully or attack the puppy, the monkey immediately comes to his rescue.

Locals are obviously impressed by this unlikely friendship, and often leave food for them. When this happens, the monkey even lets the puppy eat first, an incredible act of kindness for a wild animal.

Local news say that animal officials have taken the puppy to their custody, but the story of how a monkey cared for a stray puppy like it was his own family will never be forgotten by the people of Erode.

This Golden Retriever pair have just become parents to a litter of seven adorable little pups. In a beautifully serene video, they treat us to glimpses of their new life as parents.

The way the gaze at their little miracles with such love and pride is heart-meltingly beautiful. The new parents radiate love and affection with every breath and they both seem to be filled with deep, existential satisfaction.

A fisherman's beloved dog that was presumed to be drowned in the Pacific Ocean has been found alive five weeks after falling overboard his boat.

Nick Haworth's dog, Luna, a 1 ½-year-old German shepherd, was spotted Tuesday on San Clemente Island, a Navy-owned training base 70 miles off San Diego. The blue-eyed pup disappeared February 10 as Haworth, a commercial fisherman from San Diego, worked on a boat two miles from the island.

'They were pulling in their (lobster) traps, and one minute Luna was there, and the next minute she was gone,' said Sandy DeMunnik, spokeswoman for Naval Base Coronado. 'They looked everywhere for her. They couldn't see her. The water was dark, and she's dark.'

Haworth notified Navy personnel that his dog had fallen overboard.'He insisted that he was 90 percent sure that she made it to shore because she was such a strong swimmer,' DeMunnik said. Haworth searched the waters for about two days and Navy staff searched the island for about a week but found no sign of Luna.

She was presumed lost at sea until Tuesday morning when staff arriving for work at the island's Naval Auxiliary Landing Field spotted something unusual — a dog sitting by the side of the road. She was just sitting there wagging her tail,' DeMunnik said. The staff called to Luna, and she came right over.
