Everything was just perfect in the world with Sasha and Max together. However, after Sasha passed, Max was left feeling quite lonely and sad. Many owners would think about getting another dog, but Patrick and Kirsten decided to adopt Quackers, a duck. 

They probably didn’t expect Max to take such a liking to the new addition to the family, but these two clicked and became inseparable. 

“Max would sit next to his pen all the time, and they just kind of bonded that way”, Patrick shared. “After we let him out, they never left each other’s side”. Kirsten added: “They sleep together, they eat together, they drink together, they go for walks together, everything is together.” 

 Their friendship hasn’t only impressed their humans, but it has also gotten the town’s attention. These two are basically celebrities around their small hometown and people are just as happy as they can be to get to witness these cuties’ friendship! Source
