75-Year-Old Grandpa Volunteers and Naps With Cats At Shelter Every Day For 6 Months

Cats are true masters at sleeping. They can sleep any time, any place and under any circumstances.

However, they are very vulnerable when they are sleeping. Maybe that is the reason why they like to find a place, or person, that they trust to sleep on.

So, what better way to help out some shelter cats than to sleep with them?
Meet 75-year-old Terry Lauerman who likes nothing more than napping with his cats in the local shelter has stolen hearts on the internet.

He regularly visits Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary, a nonprofit cat sanctuary in Green Bay, Wisconsin to take care of his friends.

He has been volunteering here as a staff of the shelter for six months.
Staffs at the shelter said that he came every day and stayed for around 3 hours a time to groom the cats and sleep with them.

Whenever he sleeps, all the cats take turns snuggling and napping alongside him.
One day, staffs of the shelter decided to post his photos with adorable cats on Facebook and it quickly went viral.

People from all over started donating to the shelter to continue their important work and help adorable cats.
Shelters are happy homes of millions of unfortunate animals, and need your donations to maintain.

Please contact your local shelter for more info and don’t forget to share with your friends and family members!
