A woman traveling in South Africa was delighted when she heard a noise coming from her room’s balcony and discovered a herd of elephants drinking water from her pool!
A woman traveling in South Africa was delighted when she heard a noise coming from her room’s balcony and discovered a herd of elephants drinking water from her pool! Carefully opening the door and peeking out, she sees six elephants of all sizes dunking their trunks into the water and spraying the water into their mouths.
Although unconfirmed, one viewer says they recognize the splash pool as being one at Thanda Game Reserve in South Africa.
“I’m guessing Lodge 3, because it’s the elephants’ favourite. I stayed there earlier in the year, it’s an amazing place,” they commented.
I can only imagine how wonderful it would be to wake up and find wild elephants right outside your window!
