The heroic dog – a springer spaniel, named Leia – spotted the baby porpoise stranded on shore, and started to bark, leading his owner to it. The man has eventually managed to rescue the helpless creature. 

Rich Wilcock, a photography enthusiast, was walking with his 2-year-old dog along the shoreline near Criccieth, Wales, when all of a sudden, Leia was barking uncontrollable just like she was trying to drag her dad’s attention. 

Following his dog, Rich was surprised to came upon a beached marine creature. “I was photographing the beautiful scenery when Leia started to make a right old fuss,” the man told Daily Post. 

“She kept coming up to me, barking and nudging me, she must have smelt the dolphin from a mile off. At first I thought it was a baby shark, it was only about one and half foot but on a closer inspection I could see the blow hole on top of his head and realized it was a dolphin.” 

Though Rich eventually identified the sea mammal as a dolphin, marine official at the Seawatch Foundation said it is more probably to actually be a baby porpoise. 

Porpoise are marine mammals that look pretty similar to dolphins, but they are actually closely related to belugas and narwhals. Anyway, most importantly is that Rich managed to save the little one’s life, as he guided it back to deep waters. Then, he and Leia stayed on that beach for at least one hour more, just to make sure the baby porpoise is safe. 

“There was nobody around for miles so I did what I could as gently as possible,” Rick said. “I lifted him gently under the belly and popped him back amongst the waves and he swam away into deeper water.” The man also mentioned his dog got some extra treats when they returned back home, since she should be credited (entirely) for the rescue. 

“She is a very intelligent dog, more intelligent than most,” Rich also said.

Though he didn’t always had a passion for photography, Ajar Setiadi used to spent hours watching tiny creatures that use to live around his house. 

But then he though it would even better to capture these colorful creatures as lizards, snakes, frogs or even insects, on a camera. So he bought one and ever since, he’s happier than ever. 

Since Ajar spends so much time observing these tiny creatures in different steps of their lives, he managed to capture the sweetest snaps along the way. 

Recently he witnessed tenderest moment two frogs can ever offer. It was a pouring rain when the talented photographer grabbed his camera and went through the deep forest to search for some once-in-a-lifetime frames. 

Gratefully his efforts paid off when he spotted two frogs that turned a flower into an umbrella to shelter them from the heavy rain. But the the two tiny tree frogs offered a more special scene. While sitting under a flower they just hugged each other and Ajar caught the moment in a memorable snap. 

“I could only get a few frames because this moment can’t be repeated,” the photographer explained for The Dodo.“I usually let them act. I’m just waiting for the best moment.”

Yulia started this artistic work in 2015 and has already created more than 100 adorable creatures. The artist employs a felted wool technique, which is not the same as wool felt, which is a completely different technique, but that appears very similar. 

Basically, the first involves threading and weaving, and the second one does not. The felted wool technique increases the fluffiness of the wool, and translates into a soft, fluffy texture, which works so nicely in creating these adorable tiny balls of fluff. 

Yulia has a gift for making animals of the woods, as well as other exotic creatures, with this felted wool. She certainly has an eye for spotting beauty, and that’s why her works of art have a unique touch. Each animal requires great dedication as it can take up to 20 hours to complete.

The poor soul knew she would have to struggle to feed her delicate puppies and keep them warm with the blizzard raging on days on end. 

Ultimately, she found a cold and wet drainpipe by the road and decided to crawl inside with her pups to seek refuge from the chilling snow. But the abandoned dog's distressing ordeal wasn't over yet. She knew her babies would not survive the cold months if not for human intervention. 

As the pups grew sicker, Hera become more anxious, dashing out of the pipe every time she heard a vehicle pass by. All she wanted was for someone to help keep her babies alive. But unfortunately, people could not be less bothered by her predicament, according to iheartdogs. 

Thankfully, there were some concerned travelers who noticed the helpless dog and reached out to a member of the Dog Rescue Shelter Mladenovac. Thus, one day a man named Milan set out into the stormy roadways to rescue Hera. 

Although most of the pipes in the area had been covered in snow due to the ongoing blizzard, Milan was able to track down the mother and her pups with the help of her paw-prints.

  In a heartwarming video, Hera can be seen running out of the pipe right after hearing Milan's footsteps approaching her temporary residence. 

While the man was ecstatic to locate Hera, he was heartbroken to see that her 4-weeks-old puppies were soaked and shivering in the pipe. But getting the pups out of the uncomfortable boarding turned out to be a rather difficult task as they weren't used to humans, unlike their mother. 

Despite his assurances, they refused to budge and Milan knew he had to them out quickly as it was getting dark. He knew this was going to be an extensive rescue but despite knowing the effort involved, he never once turned his back on the scared puppies. 

Even as the weather worsened, he remained by the road until the pups were out. First, he let Hera enter the pipe hoping that her pups would follow but that didn't work. 

Next, he put out some food, hoping to lure them out but ultimately, he got the put using a tool. With patience and care, Milan was finally able to reunite the babies with their mom who couldn't have been more grateful for his help.
