The mother duck will bring her babies here to say hello to her old friends! Every year, when the mother duck arrives, she walks through the MM Ewing Routine Care Center’s main hallway. 

Even more special, all of the current residents come out of their rooms to cheer on the little boys as they make their way through the building! The ducklings didn’t seem to understand what was going on, but they were clearly proud to be greeted! 

They even put up old signs to gently guide the mother duck and her babies if they appear to be going astray. The ducks are at ease walking through the building with the residents. The entire population of the building gets involved in assisting the ducks’ journey. 

To finish their journey, they went to the light through an open door at the end of the hallway. They enthusiastically led the way to this parade to ensure that no ducklings were left behind! As we learn more about animals, it seems that many of them have high intelligence, behavior, and emotions that blow our minds. 

This mother duck knows she’ll be safe there, so she keeps returning! Someone joked that this adorable story is like a new episode of “Duck Adventures” every year! 

That is so cute bless her and her ducklings that must make the residents day having her and her babies visit them. The mama duck obviously senses that the nursing home is a safe place, and I’m sure the residents enjoy this annual parade.

He immediately took him upon himself and saved him. These incredible scenes were captured on camera. Palanichamy Sarathkumar from India, specifically from Tamil Nadu, is a man with a big heart. He is 28 years old, and he has already proven what a man he is. 

When he was leaving work one night, he found out that an elephant had stopped on the road and was not moving. He immediately reacted together with his colleagues and helped the elephant to go back into the forest. 

Only later did this keeper understand what exactly happened and why that elephant was on the road. There was a small elephant nearby that couldn’t help itself after getting stuck in the canal. Without thinking this guard took him on his shoulders and helped him out of trouble. 

As Palanichamy told BBC News, this elephant was heavier than him, but that didn’t stop him from picking it up and thus saving it. The little elephant was very scared and tired, he really needed help. 

 

Thanks to this wonderful man and his colleagues, the little elephant returned to its mother again.

A Chinese man named Shimoda experienced an unusual moment in the field. It all happened when the man decided to take a break from work. At that time he found something unusual in the grass. This man was determined to take care of small animals, whatever their species. These were newborns whose eyes were still closed. 

He thought about it and came to the conclusion that it could be big dogs one day. He made them a small hayloft to make them comfortable. After a few days, when the animals had grown a little, everything was clear. 

Shimoda was very surprised when he realized that this was not about dogs, but about rabbits. These were very small and very cute bunnies. There weren’t many rabbits in this place for a while because there are hunters there. Still, nature did its job again and brought little cute bunnies to old man Shimoda.

Villa Lorena is an animal refuge unlike any other, which cares for hundreds of abused animals, including this lion named Jupiter. 

Many of the animals had previously belonged to drug traffickers who had been apprehended. Ana Julia Torres is the caretaker of four lions, nine Bengal tigers, jaguars, cougars, a crocodile, a speckled bear, an ostrich, Jocko the chimpanzee, spider monkeys, and hundreds of brightly colored birds. 

According to Ana Julia, they all have one thing in common: they have all been abused. They’re lame, or have lost arm or legs; they’re blind, or can’t concentrate, or have actually lost an eye. Previously, Jupiter had lost trust in people and had developed a fear of human contact. This phobia vanished when he was cared for by Anna Julia. However, because of her reported lack of documents to keep the lion, authorities removed Jupiter from Anna Julia’s treatment. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer and anemia by the vets. He quickly lost weight and became very ill. 

When he had the opportunity to see Ana Julia one last time at the Los Caimanes Zoo, she found he has kidney and liver damage and is so thin. Jupiter succumbed to liver cancer and di.ed in 2020, but his memory lives on Goodbye Jupiter, you must be happy in heaven! May this beautiful lion now R.I.P. after so much suffering and a very big thank you to the lady who loved and nurtured him only to lose him.😢🙏🌈🌞

The fishermen called marine conservationists right away, who gave them advice on how to care for the youngster until a rescue team could arrive. The infant was given the name Paradon, meaning ‘brotherly burden,’ because everyone involved understood that it would be difficult to save the dolphin’s life. 

Irrawaddy dolphins may be found in three rivers in Myanmar, Cambodia, and Indonesia as well as the shallow coastal waters of South and Southeast Asia. 

Loss of habitat, pollution, and fishing practices that catch dolphins accidentally alongside other species are all reasons they are listed as a vulnerable species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature. Thailand’s eastern coast, which borders Cambodia, is thought to still be home to 400 Irrawaddy dolphins, according to officials from the marine research institute. 

 Numerous vets and volunteers have helped take care of Paradon at the facility in Rayong on the Gulf of Thailand ever since he was discovered by the fisherman on July 22. “We said among ourselves that the chance of him surviving was quite low, judging from his condition,” Thanaphan Chomchuen, a vet at the institution, said. 

He was put in a saltwater pool, his lung infection was treated, and volunteers were recruited to keep watch over him constantly. 

To keep him from drowning, they have to hold him up in his tank and give him milk via a feeding tube at first, then a bottle once he has gained some muscle. Each eight-hour shift includes a staff veterinarian, one or two volunteers, and other employees who are responsible for the water pump and filter and producing milk for the calf during the day. 

After a month, Paradon is getting better. The calf, which is thought to be between four and six months old, is now able to swim and shows no indications of illness. 

However, despite the team’s best attempts to feed him every 20 minutes or so, the dolphin, who was about 27 kilos (59 pounds) and 138 centimeters long (4.5 feet) on July 22, is still weak and doesn’t consume enough milk. A 32-year-old financial advisor named Thippunyar Thipjuntar is one of the numerous volunteers that show up for a babysitting duty with Paradon. 

With Paradon’s round baby face and curved lips that resemble a grin, Thippunya claimed she couldn’t help but become close to him and worry about his growth. “He does not eat enough but rather just wants to play. I am worried that he does not receive enough nutrition,” she told The Associated Press on Friday as she fed the sleepy Paradon. 

“When you invest your time, physical effort, mental attention, and money to come here to be a volunteer, of course you wish that he would grow strong and survive.” 

Until he is weaned from milk and is ready to forage for his own food, Paradon will require long-term care, maybe for up to a year, according to Sumana Kajonwattanakul, director of the marine center. 

“If we just release him when he gets better, the problem is that he he won’t be able to have milk.” “We will have to take care of him until he has his teeth, then we must train him to eat fish, and be part of a pod. They’ve saved countless animals around Los Angeles and helped them find good homes. One of the group’s most daring rescues was of nine puppies trapped in a cave underground near the railroad tracks.

The organization heard about these puppies from a group of good samaritans. These kind people often brought food for three stray female dogs who lived by the railroad tracks.

One day, one of the people who looked after the dogs heard high-pitched cries. The person looked around, trying to figure out who was making these cries. 

Then, they finally realized they were coming from a deep hole near the railroad tracks. The good Samaritan peeked into the hole and saw nine terrified puppies huddled together. The person who found the puppies immediately called Hope for Paws, who were known for responding quickly to animals in need. 

Because of that, the good Samaritan was surprised when Hope for Paws didn’t respond for a few hours. 

Later, the good Samaritan learned why the organization hadn’t responded: they had been at a funeral for one of Hope for Paws’ animal rescuers, Lisa M. Ashe. Ashe had worked with Hope for Paws for many years, saving animals from precarious situations. Her favorite rescues, though, involved puppies. 

Rescuing puppies in need was her true passion. Sadly, Ashe was diagnosed with cancer, and after a long battle with the disease, she passed away. The Hope for Paws team was devastated to lose her. 

After the funeral, Hope for Paws founder, Eldad Hagar, checked his phone and saw the message about the puppies trapped in a cave. 

Hagar and his team immediately jumped into their car and headed over—they would rescue these puppies in Ashe’s memory. When the team got to the cave, they realized how tough this rescue was going to be. The puppies had never spent time with humans before, and they didn’t understand that the rescuers wanted to help them. 

When the rescuers tried to reach for the puppies, they ran farther into the cave. Hagar tried using a cheeseburger, the only food they had, to lure the puppies out. 

They were able to get one puppy out this way, but when Hagar grabbed him he yelped, scaring the other puppies and sending them running farther into the cave. Hagar had no choice but to climb into the cave to save the other eight puppies. Hagar was able to grab three puppies quickly, but the rest of the puppies ran farther into the cave, forcing Hagar to crawl in. 

He described what happened next to The Dodo: “I crawled in 6 feet and then there’s a left turn that leads to a larger chamber. I was able to get three but then the rest were in that chamber and they were so deep. Because the turn was so sharp I couldn’t get any equipment back there.” 

Hagar didn’t want to leave the other five puppies behind, so he grabbed a shovel and started digging: “It took hours and hours because we had to go slow and try not to shake the earth. At the end of the rescue I was almost deaf in one ear from all the dirt falling into it. Every time a train went by you could feel the whole ground shaking. It was a pretty scary experience.” Hagar and his team were able to rescue all nine puppies and bring them back to their rescue center. 

It was an incredibly difficult rescue, but it all paid off when the scared puppies turned into happy animals who love people. What a great ending.

Liz Haslam felt attached to every one of her dogs, and she had many. Liz did the good work of rescuing bull terriers, using half an acre of land for the boarding kennel business that was attached to the two-bedroom farmhouse in Barnham, Suffolk she shared with her husband Mike. 

The dogs themselves were often abandoned or had behavioral problems. Beds for Bullies, her organization, can board up to 30 bull terriers at once. In fact, all those dogs require affection and attention, so much that Liz can spend around 18 hours a day taking care them, taking them out for a walk, and spending hundreds of dollars on their medication and any treatments they may require. Fed up by the unusual situation, according Express, Mike gave his wife an ultimatum: it was him or the dogs. 25 years together and a 22-year-old son were not often to get him to stay with her and the dogs.

For Liz, the decision was simple: it was the dogs, 100%. She couldn’t give up what made her happy and what benefited the creatures who needed her help.

If she didn’t take care of them, who will? She said, “I haven’t seen or heard from him since. I thought after 25 years, he should know giving up the dogs was not what my intentions were.” 

“He’d got to the point where he’d had enough and wanted to slow down. But I wasn’t prepared to give it up. So he decided to go,” she added. 

The pair met when she was 16 and fell in love. In January 1991, they got married, and Liz surely thought that she was marrying the love of her life. She could have never believed that it would come to this. But it seems like she has a positive attitude about the entire ordeal. She may have lost her husband, but she still gets to do what makes her happy! 

We would never dream of making someone choose between their partner and their passion. It’s just not fair! We think Liz did the right thing for her and the dogs in need.

  It started in a remote village when a paramedic listened to some noises coming from outside, he believed it was simply the wind but chose to go see anyway. As he strolled outside, he could not believe his eyes, but there was a huge tiger laying outside his door.

He was frozen with scary, as the tiger slowly got up and began to make its means towards the man. It can have been over with one bite, but the tiger did something unexpected, it walked up to the man and bowed its head. This is when the man saw that the tiger actually had a steel noose around its neck which was causing a wound. 

The wound was severely inflamed and festering, the paramedic then recognized he had to do something, and so he began walking towards his barn. The pet followed him as if they were friends, when they entered, the paramedic took the noose off and started cleaning up the wound. 

Despite being in pain, the tiger let it all happen and did nothing other than reject the food that was brought to him. 

When the inflammation decreased and the smell was gone, the tiger disappeared.

  Thank you to the kind man, the tiger’s life was saved. Days later, he went outdoors and located a deer carcass, it was a thank you from the tiger for conserving its life!

Each new birth is a sign of hope for the survival of a species threatened by extinction. That was the case recently after a giant panda mom gave birth to a pair of beautiful newborn twins, an arrival celebrated as a major win for the species conservation efforts. 

According to AP, the twins — one male and one female — were born Tuesday at the Qinling Panda Research Center in Shaanxi province, China, which aims to help save the panda population by breeding them in captivity.

The mother, Qin Qin, was impregnated through artificial insemination, and the father has not been reported. 

It is Qin Qin’s second set of twins: she also gave birth in 2020. In this early stage, you’d hardly recognize the newborns as giant pandas: they are tiny, pink and blind. 

According to National Geographic, newborn pandas are born just 1/900th the weight of their mother, making them among the smallest newborns compared to their mom. But the pandas are in good care with their mom, and are reportedly doing well. 

One day soon, they’ll grow up to be the iconic black-and-white animals we know and love.

Giant pandas have very low reproductive rates, due to their short fertility windows: female pandas only have a 36-hour window every year to get pregnant. 

This low birth rate, combined with habitat loss and climate change, has long made them one of the world’s most vulnerable species. 

While, thanks to conservation efforts, they are no longer listed as endangered, they are still at risk.

Which is why breeding giant pandas in captivity is such an important, and challenging, task. According to AP, many of the giant pandas bred in captivity have been released back into the wild, though others live in zoos and on reserves. 

The twins’ arrival is being hailed as a sign of progress during a time when giant pandas still face threats in the wild: high temperatures in their native China have caused forest fires, further destroying their natural habitat, and they continue to be encroached by farm land.

  Boaters near the shore spotted the stuck whale in a crevice of rocks almost 5 feet above the tide line, according to CNN. 

The crew notified the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, which authorized them to use a seawater pump to keep the orca wet and birds away from the whale. 

TikTok user Aroon Melane shared a video documenting the rescue effort, showing the crew pouring buckets of water on the stranded orca. “We were working on getting a hose and pump to work,” Melane says in the video. “In the meantime, we used buckets to keep the orca wet.” 

Thankfully, Melane says the whale became more lively after the crew put water on them. Six hours after the initial spotting, the orca finally returned to the sea thanks to the tide. Once it came in, the seawater rose high enough for the whale to detach from the rocks and swim away. 

NOAA spokeswoman Julie Fair told CNN that NOAA will examine photos and videos taken during the rescue to determine whether the whale was injured. It’s still unclear what caused the beaching. Less than a day before, an 8.2-magnitude earthquake hit off the coast of southwestern Alaska, but NOAA does not believe it caused the orca to become stranded. 

No other whales were beached, but “at times during the stranding, the killer whale was vocalizing and other killer whales were spotted in the vicinity,” Fair told CNN.

Kudos to the good Samaritans who spent their day keeping this orca safe!

The dog was skin and bones but very friendly. He called out for people but no one was around. Wesley had no idea how the dog ended up on the deserted island, but he knew he had to save the pup. But Wesley faced a challenge. He related to the Dodo that he only had 36 hours until he was to leave Belize. 

He wondered if he would be able to get the help he needed to save the puppy in time. As soon as he arrived back at the hotel people pitched in to help, getting cans of dog food and the bartender called friends to find a vet. 

Wesley brought his rescue, now named Winston, to the mainland to visit the vet but he could only stay for a very short time. But Wesley and Winston’s reunion was still a little way off. Wesley had to make the drive in the middle of January from from Montana to Dallas. And Wesley wondered, would Winston recognize him?
